Growing a Greener Tomorrow: Tree Planting with Ancom Crop Care

August 24, 2024 marked a special day at Taman Botani Shah Alam, where a meaningful effort to give back to nature came to life. Organized in collaboration between Ancom Crop Care Sdn Bhd (ACC) and Kelab Sukan Ancom (KESRA), the event brought together 30 enthusiastic staff members with a shared goal—giving back to nature through tree planting.

The day began with a short but informative session on the importance of trees and the correct planting methods to ensure healthy growth. Energized by this knowledge, participants worked hand in hand to plant 200 Pandanus Veitchii trees, each one a small but powerful contribution toward a healthier and more resilient environment.

Beyond improving air quality and supporting local biodiversity, the effort also served to strengthen bonds among colleagues. It offered a hands-on opportunity to reflect on the role each of us plays in caring for the planet. The act of planting together became a symbol of shared responsibility, teamwork, and hope for a better future.

This initiative is part of ACC’s wider commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
