Apply NowThe Ancom Crop Care Penang Scholarship Programme is part of our ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation through equitable access to higher education. The programme provides tuition fee support of up to RM10,000 for Penang-born students pursuing recognised degree programmes at Malaysian universities.
Open to students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, the scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers and create opportunities for future leaders across diverse fields. Applications for the 2025 intake are open from 18 July – 14 October 2025.
Scholarship Frequently Asked Questions
What is the value of the scholarship?
The scholarship covers tuition fees up to RM10,000 for the entire duration of the degree programme.
Does the scholarship cover other costs such as accommodation?
No. It only covers tuition fees.
When is the application period?
Applications are open from 18 July – 14 October 2025.
How do students apply?

Who is eligible to apply?
Penang-born students who:
• Are already enrolled in university, or
• Have secured admission into a degree programme for the 2025/2026 academic year
at any Malaysian public or private university.

• Ancom Nylex Berhad (www.ancomnylex.com)
How do you verify that students are Penang-born?
Through their MyKad (Identity Card number).
• Are already enrolled in university, or
• Have secured admission into a degree programme for the 2025/2026 academic year
at any Malaysian public or private university.

What degree programmes qualify?
Any field of study except:
• Medicine
• Dentistry
The programme must be MQA-recognised.
Which universities are accepted?
Any Malaysian public or private university offering an MQA-recognised degree programme.

Are payments made directly to students?
No. Tuition payments are made directly to the university.

Is there a bonding requirement?
Yes. Scholars must serve 2 years with Ancom Crop Care or another company within the Ancom Nylex Group. The company may waive this at its discretion.
