Ancom Berhad (“Ancom”) was incorporated in Malaysia on 3 March 1969 as Ansul (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, pioneering the manufacturing of agricultural chemicals and herbicides in Malaysia. After several changes in management and shareholders, the company assumed its present name on 9 September 1989 and was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia) on 29 March 1990.

Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Nylex Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (“NHSB”), Ancom completed the acquisition of the entire business and undertaking of Nylex (Malaysia) Berhad (“Nylex”) on 26 January 2022. Consequently, Nylex’s subsidiaries became direct subsidiaries of NHSB.

Reflecting this integration, the company officially changed its name to Ancom Nylex Berhad (“ANB”) on 5 April 2022.

Today, ANB is a diversified group with business activities spanning:

  • Agricultural & Industrial Chemicals – Manufacturing and sale of agricultural and industrial chemicals.

  • Public Health & Hygiene – Pest control, washroom & hygiene, fumigation, and sanitization services.

  • Animal Health – Manufacturing and trading of animal health products, including antibiotics, feed additives, supplements, and disinfectants.

  • Polymer – Manufacturing and marketing of polymer products.

  • Logistics – Transportation, container haulage, bulk cargo handling, chemicals warehousing, and related services.

  • Information Technology – IT services and sales of computer hardware and software.

  • Media – Provision of digital and out-of-home advertising media space.

ANB is the holding company of Nylex and Ancom Logistics Berhad, listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market and ACE Market respectively.
